Announcing our very first Teen Cooking Classes at Cafe Avalaun!

Time: 6PM-8:30 PM (Class time)  Dinner guests (Parents or up to 2 guests) arrive at 8 PM to enjoy the meals prepared by their teens.

Various types of emulsions- bringing two or more substances together to create a stable viscous liquid.  

Vinaigrettes, hollandaise and The Maillard reaction- browning and caramelizing = flavor.

Instantly freeze anything- using liquid nitrogen to make things like ice cream!
